December 31, 2008

December 31st.

I left the 'create post' page on for the whole day,
Till now I am finally willing to write something.

2008.

Fact is,
I can't really differentiate what happened this year and the previous one,
I can't really keep track of time =x

Anyway,
Just like any other years,
A lot of stuff happened.

Oh crap what am I suppose to blog about.

...

Let me look through my the titles of my archives for this year.

Argh.

I'm so messed up right now.

Okay,
Once again,
2008.

Academics,
Year of a major exam,
Passed with flying colours,
Hard work not gone to waste.

School,
Well,
Went through with it anyway,
As much as I really dislike it,
(Like everyone else),
I still find times where actually had a great time.
So I guess it's not all bad.

Friends,
Humans,
In school,
Good and bad,
Of course,
Thanks to those who really are my friends,
Thanks to those who helped,
Thanks to those who shared,
Thanks to those who listened.

Thanks to those who treated me as a friend.

Religion,
Grew closer,
No doubt I have my struggles and all,
But in the end,
I am still very happy with my decision at the end of the day.
To be a Christian,
A Methodist.

Parents,
Learned about each other more,
Really want to thank them,
For everything.
Just so you know,
I always feel teary at the thought of losing them,
I can't really imagine how it would be like.

Relatives,
I don't know why I feel so ignorant when they are so good.
I guess there's just something wrong with me.

Lastly,
Myself,
I guess,
I understand myself even more,
Taking notes of small details,
Like what I like and all.
Trying to look into myself,
Asking myself what do I really like,
What do I really feel.
For example,
Knowing that I like clothes with a collar,
Because round neck collars make my neck feel uncomfortable,
Stuff like that,
Tiny,
Insignificant,
But about myself,
About what I like.

Day by day,
Learning more about everything,
Learning about human beings,
Their actions and all,
Trying to understand others.

Things normal people do.

So much, so much.

Growing,
Both mentally and physically.
Being more observant.

And also,
Learning to stick on something I do,
Like blogging.

Making friends,
Everything.

Well,
I guess that is my 2008.

And I'm not even gonna talk about 2009,
Because from my past experience,
Whatever I said will never be done.

So why care? ;)

As long as,
I do my job as a student,
As a friend,
As a son,
As a follower of Him,
I guess everything will be okay.

Happy New Year,
The end of 2008,
And the starting of 2009.

My advice is to leave whatever that happened in 2008,
And be ready to make a better 2009.

HAPPY NEW YEAR :D

When the rain's over ...

... you'll see the beautiful rainbow.

Oh my gosh the cheesiness =.=

GUESS WHAT.
8A's man!

STRAIGHT A'S FOR MY PMR!

Since yesterday,
The youth retreat,
I've already started getting nervous.

For the whole retreat,
The only message was to stop worrying,
And have faith.

Faith.

But I still can't wait for the results!!!!

So this morning,
I came back from church,
And went straight to school.

(in stinking clothes)

At first the results weren't out yet,
So my father and I went to the restaurant opposite of the school for lunch.

I was busy spamming SMS-es everywhere.

By the time my father finished,
(I didn't eat, couldn't eat)
RESULTS WERE ALREADY OUT.

Went to take my results,
SO DAMN SCARY YOU KNOW.
I WAS LIKE LITERALLY SHOUTING INSIDE.

Then this situation came up :

Someone's parent wanted to tell me that I can get straight A's,
And she thought I only took 7A's,
So she said I could get 7A's,
But I misunderstood and thought that she was telling me that I got 7A's,
AND I ALREADY FELT LIKE DYING.

Alvin and Justin were there,
For some reason.

Teacher handed me my slip,
Everything was passing by too fast.

I looked closely when the teacher was flipping through the stack of result slips,
And when she stopped,
I looked at the whole line of results :

A
A
A
A
A
A
A
A

No B's,
Nothing different,
Excitement reaches the highest level.

Takes slip from teacher,
Double checks,

STRAIGHT A'S!!!

HAPPY :D :D

VERY HAPPY :D :D

CAN'T REMEMBER WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME I FELT THIS WAY.

Meet up with friends,
Share the joy :D

Went back,
Continued SMS-ing like mad,
A total of 80+ SMS-es received,
And 70+ sent.

* * *

I would like the thank God,
For protecting me, guiding me, blessing me, loving me,
For everything he had given me.

I would like to thank my parents,
For whatever they had done to make my life easier,
And also for the love and care.

Thank my relatives,
For so much support that you have given.

I would like to thank my friends,
Those who stuck by and were there when I felt down.

I would like to thank my teachers,
Both school teachers and tuition teachers.

* * *

I would also like to congratulate those who scored well in their PMR,
And for those who didn't do well,
Don't not fret,
PMR is not everything.

I guess PMR is just one of the small milestones in our lives.

And lastly ...

8A's WOO! :D

December 29, 2008

It's coming ...

I should have combined this post with the previous one,
But I think this matter is way too important.

Very important.

Tomorrow,

Is the day.

Results.

(Thunder crackling sound)

Basically there are 2 situations running through my head,
Very good results and not so good results.
I didn't even run through the one where I get very bad results.

I feel like ... I'm going to explode soon.
:(
Results :(

I don't wish to disappoint my parents, teachers, friends, relatives.

I feel quite messed up now,
I can't even blog properly.
(As if it was any proper anyway)

I guess,
All I can do now,
Is to have faith,
In God and in myself,
Whatever my results are,
I can't really do anything anyway.

Or,
Should I have faith that I will get good results?

>.<
>.<

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
*screams*

Shopping trips

Went Sunway Pyramid on Saturday,
Spent most of my time walking alone since my mom and her friend were busy shopping.

I bought a CD album and some book from Popular.

Then went to meet up with them to buy some of my stuff.

Walked the whole day.

So tired.

On Sunday,
Went MidValley.

Didn't have a chance to walk alone,
didn't bought anything too.

Exhausted.

Today,
Going Sunway,
AGAIN.

Books!

This isn't qualified as a book review,
Since it will be a stupid move if I were to review about a book when the words I use isn't gonna convince anyone that I've been reading books.

So instead,
I'll share about a book that I've read.

The Story of Edgar Sawtelle and PS I Love You are both books that I bought in the MPH warehouse sale.

The Story of Edgar Sawtelle

(The cover of the version I have)

(The cover of the one I spot currently selling in MPH)

This book is one of the most gigantic books I've ever finish reading.

Heavy to hold,
Quite troublesome.
But that's not important.

Anyway,
The use of language is much deeper than those that I have read before,
But it isn't impossible to understand.

(Although some parts I had to read again to understand, probably because I didn't concentrate fully)

Story line :
(Not spoiler, just taken from the back of the book)

On a farm in remote northern Wisconsin the mute and brilliant Edgar Sawtelle leads an idyllic life with his parents. For generations, the Sawtelles have raised and trained a breed of dog whose thoughtful companionship is epitomised by Almodine, Edgar's lifelong companion.

But when his beloved father mysteriously dies, Edgar blames himself, if only because his muteness left him unable to summon help. Grief-stricken and bewildered by his mother's desperate affair with her dead husband's brother, Edgar's world unravels one spring night when, in the falling rain, he sees his father's ghost ...
The author explains everything in detail.
Every. Single. Thing.
You have to understand what it is and try to imagine everything,
Which I'm not so good at.

Overall,
The book is very good,
More like serious reading to me,
Not a light book.
The whole book is very ... consuming?
Er ... emotional?
I don't know how to describe it,
(Yeah, my lack of vocabulary)
But it will make you feel like you've already experienced barn life.

Next book,
I bet everyone has heard of this before.

Light book,
Very light.
Easy read,
Not to say it's bad,
But it doesn't require that much brain power to understand everything.

It's like one of those TV series put into a book.
Manage to finish it in like 3 days,
Considering I'm not so much of a continuous or fast reader,
That's considered very fast.

Sad thing was,
I didn't cry at all while reading that book,
Since I have like 3 to 4 female friends telling me that they cried like babies reading this book.

I laughed a lot though,
At their conversations,
Not the touching moments of course.

Did I mention this is the very first chick lit I've ever read?
I didn't know it was ... like this.
Very ... light.

That's all,
Worth grabbing if you're wondering what to read.

Though I'm still not sure what genre I'm interested in.

December 24, 2008

Tired.

Before I start,
To Ken Tze :

I wore a Santa hat and walked around in the main entrance of the Assunta hospital,
The children's ward,
The old people's ward,
And even the ICU.

Beat that xD

-Went out 5.30pm-

-Came back 12.45am-

So tired.

Christmas celebration!
Woots~

Everything's finally over :D

Merry Christmas!

December 23, 2008

Updates about stuff you should know.

I have a new computer.

:D

I'm serious.

My relatives bought a new comp for me when they heard that my motherboard died.
I hereby express my gratitude for it.

Thank you.

Previously,
Everything was new,
Now the my old comp's files are back,
I have like a total of 190GB space,
And my 160GB external hard drive.

* * *

Ken Tze came over my house yesterday,
He needed to use my CD ROM.

I'm sorry I didn't entertain you much,
I was busy doing meaningless and time consuming stuff.

I was putting in album artwork for every song in my iTunes.

And now every song has album artwork!

* * *

Went Caroling today,
1st stop was Shalom home, orphanage I think,
2nd was Assunta hospital,
3rd was Impressive Nursing Home.

Me, Dante and Addison sat in Kym's (or Kim?) car,
Her air conditioner busted,
But it was okay.

Assunta's caroling was quite nice,
But my back ached.

Impressive Nursing Home was sad,
I mean,
All sick old people,
In one place,
Without their children around them.
You'd get that picture.

Around 7 or 8,
Went back to church,
Ate the dinner prepared (can't remember who did, sorry)
Then suppose to stay back for props thing because the stage arrived.

Before going back,
Most of us sat in a circle,
Listening to Esther talking about her 'adventures',
Had a great time overall,
Despite there were conflicts.

* * *

No time to blog lengthily,
Even though it is kinda long,
Didn't quite elaborate much.

I hope I didn't leave out anything important.

December 21, 2008

I hate this.

I feel like shit right now.
Maybe it's because of the lack of sleep or something,
I just literally collapsed on the couch,
And woke up later to find out that hours had already passed by.

Anyway,
I forgot to mention,
That on Thursday morning,
My father brought me down KL for breakfast.

We went hunting for famous KL food,
Those often shown in food documentaries.

* * *

Besides that,
Did a lot of practice for the coming Christmas celebration.
At first I wasn't involved in the drama,
But ended up handling props.

* * *

Tuition for the holidays finally ended,
But it's kinda like a one week thing,
Which doesn't make much difference.

I remember my friend saying that I'm kiasu for taking tuition so early,
Never really thought of that,
But I guess that was a statement that seemed quite true ...
Sometimes =x

* * *

Currently using wide flat screen monitor + wireless keyboard + wireless mouse,
Interesting!

I can't believe the download speed here in the kampung is like 170+kbps,
While it peaks at 60-70kbps in my house.

I hope I don't crash and die on the couch again.

* * *

PMR results,
Stupid thing,
No one knows for sure when they are going to be announced.

Should be 30th,
Since my friend got his news from a teacher.

* * *

I guess ... that's it!
I gotta stop posting randomly like this...
Wait till my computer recovers and everything moves back to its rightful place.
-Kritz

Another short post. Maybe not.

Before I start.

I ****ing hate my ****ing computer for having so many ****ing problems.

Anyway,
It's a been a week since I lost my computer,
Apparently my motherboard crashed and burned,
And I'm right now in kampung.

Besides ranting everyday,
Sighing loudly in front of my parents,
It wasn't that hard to bare with.

Watched TV,
Read books.

Finished two books,
The Story of Edgar Sawtelle and PS I Love You.
Both books were nice,
And I'll probably do an amateur-ish review later on.
(Since I have nothing to post)

Results are coming out soon,
Very soon.

Went caroling yesterday,
Suppose to go today but I went back kampung.
Caroling was fun!
Ate and ate and ate and sang and talked and this and that ...

*mosquitoes are sucking my blood while I'm typing this*

End of not-so-short-yet-not-a-long-post-either post.
-Kritz

December 10, 2008

A short post.

Me and my messy computer table.

Guess what?
Just now I was like looking for the mouse.

There are stuff like Rubik's cubes, bottles, cellphone, pens,
And I was grabbing everyone of them,
Realising they are not my mouse -.-

*grabs*
No
*grabs*
No
*grabs*
No
*grabs*
AH! My mouse!

Should I really end my post ..
This short ..
?

I guess so.

December 9, 2008

Hmm.. haven't been blogging often.

Mainly because nothing much happened,
And there are so much sensitive issues that I can't blog about.

What's blogging when you can't blog what you want to blog about?

Sigh.

The lack of interesting activities happening.

Anyway,
Happy birthday to my father!

And ... er ...

Been reading The Story of Edgar Sawtelle,
Probably do a review about it when I'm done reading that.

Meh.
-Kritz

December 7, 2008

Apathetic.

No,
It doesn't mean pathetic.

Sigh.

I went back to my mother's hometown on Saturday to visit my bedridden grandmother.
She shifted from Sunway Medical Center to her home.

Nothing much happened.

Imma go play with my Rubik's cube or read some books since I have nothing to do.

Bye.
-Kritz

December 3, 2008

The absence of electricity.

I can't really bother too much.
I'll just put all recent events together in this blog post.

* * *

About the Sunway Pyramid trip,
I truly experience the fun of walking alone in the shopping mall.

I was like a nerd when I was in Popular,
Flipping through multiple reference books,
Comparing to see which has the most detailed notes.

Then,
Moving to places to find stuff that I'm interested in,
But too bad time was running short,
And I had to go back.

The amazing part of walking alone is that I don't have to worry about the needs of others,
I can stop by any time I want,
Or walk like a lizard zig-zaging through the crowd without worrying that my friend couldn't catch up.

* * *

Yesterday,
My father showed me an article,
About some politician proposing to abolish vernacular schools.

I became furious for no reason.
For a person who doesn't care about politics,
I must say for stuff that are related to me,
Especially education,
I have this weird feeling to know more about it.

I don't want to talk about it anyway.

Later that night,
For English tuition class,
Teacher decided to make it a public speaking session.

And I just blabbered about that topic,
Adding a few points that I thought was relevant.

She didn't give any negative comments,
I guess it's because she doesn't see the need to be strict at that moment,
But I'm clear that I have loads to improve on.

* * *

Suppose to go to MidValley today,
But yesterday night,
Josh and Fiona told Blake and I that they couldn't make it.

Went through loads of stuff,
In the end I stayed at home.

* * *

There was a notice that a few of my friends that stayed nearby received,
Except me.

Supposedly the electric supply would be off from 8am to 5pm today,
But instead it was just 11am to 2pm.

Thank goodness.

Since my father left for work,
I was left all alone to handle boredom.

Without the fan,
Without contraptions making mechanical noise,
It was pure silence.

If only the weather in Malaysia would be less painful,
The whole environment would be the utmost state of peacefulness.
Friends gave me all sorts of ways to spend my time in this situation,
Most of them told me to go out and spend quality time with nature.

Are you serious?

You people must be watching too much shows,
I don't see how fun can frolicking under the scorching sun be.
It's Malaysia people,
There ain't no cooling shades or pavements for you to walk on.

Sit under a shady tree reading books?
Impossible.

No way.

Anyway,
I started reading books.
The Story of Edgar Sawtelle.

Till 2pm,
The fan started moving!
And life was restored!
Woo hoo!

* * *

A little thing I have to end with before I end, (huh? what?)
I just realised that my flow of speech isn't that fluent,
I guess I could improve on that.

My arrangement of points suck too,
I often feel that way when blogging.

Yesterday's Outing

(I'm blogging once again as if it's yesterday, to make it easier)

Went to Maybank in the morning,
To buy ASM thing.

Ate at Kluang station later.

Went to Sunway later on,
With Fiona,
Met TJ,
Didn't really talk to him.

Watched Twilight,
Vampire Romance.
Not bad I guess.

Didn't eat anything,
Walked around,
Looked at stuff.

I'm so friggin' not in the mood to blog.
Sheesh.

NDS and PS3!!

(I'm blogging as if it's still on Sunday)

Went to church,
Came back after choir practise.

Went out with my mother and my cousin sister,
Visited my grandmother in the hospital,
Amazing,
She can speak better now,
Even though it's still hard to understand her.

Justine (mother's friend) came to visit too.

After that,
Cousin sister bought me a large Starbucks drink,
Mine was Caramel Ice Blended while hers was Mocha Ice Blended.
I wanted to buy Starbucks yesterday,
But the car broke down.
Today,
I even had it for free!

Went to Summit,
Cousin sister want to buy something for her nephew,
After some consideration,
She decided to buy the Nintendo DS.
NDS,
For an 8-year-old.
Wow.
Lucky dude.

I saw Blake there too,
Actually I saw his mum 1st,
Then he came to find me at that shop.

While waiting,
I saw a PS3 lying there with a HDTV waiting for me to play it.
Indeed,
I GOT TO PLAY IT.

I PLAYED PS3 WOOOOOT.

It was Devil May Cry 4 Trial version.
Since the day I started playing God of War,
I realised that I actually like these types of games.

The game was awesome!
PS3 was awesome!
Weee~~

Got to know that the PS3 has memory because you have to install the game 1st,
40GB was around RM1300 and 80GB was around RM1600.

Anyway,
Bought the NDS,
Went for dinner at Mandy's.
I ate Mix Grilled,
Chicken, lamb, and a footlong sausage.

Went home,
Tried out the amazing NDS,
Very cool!

Anyway,
Officially sick of God of War's God mode,
So friggin' hard to play.
Sheesh.

November 29, 2008

Car broke down :(

My father came down with some weird allergy problem,
He was itching all over and he went to see the doctor.
Nothing much already I guess.

Went out with mum,
Suppose to go to 2 shops selling medical stuff before going to visit my grandmother.

While going to the 1st stop,
Some pharmacy opposite of IOI Mall,
I saw uncle John!

After the 1st stop,
On the way to the 2nd one,
My mother's car broke down at the side of some highway in Subang.

It was sad.

While waiting for the mechanic to come,
I saw dead rat's skin without meat and clean white bones,
I saw RM10 slitted into the bark of some tree,
I saw random people coming out from no where and going no where,
There were random Tamil radio station coming out from no where.

Anyway,
That guy came,
Suddenly the engine was working again.

So mum continued driving while the mechanic followed behind,
The workshop was at some Shell station along some highway.

The car had weird sounds,
I could imagine it suddenly blowing up.
Watching too much shows =.=

While we were at BK4,
Suddenly the car broke down again,
At a traffic light.
And I saw Jayshaan!
Hey!
What a nice place to meet?

He came again,
Pushed it to the Petronas station right beside it,
And he sent us back to our homes.

Basically that was what happened today.
:(

Cousin Sis (a.k.a. bigmoon a.k.a. Tracy a.k.a. cikgu Chan) and I made egg sandwiches.
She did most of the things though,
Boiling the egg and everything.
Tasted not bad :D

Currently playing my PSP again,
God of War: Chains of Olympus in God mode is hard,
And I don't mean I myself in God mode,
I mean the difficulty -.-
-Kritz

November 27, 2008

That small matter that matters to me.

Random post.

Well,
It might not matter for the most of you,
But it's quite an eyesore for me.

Please people,
Space after putting the full stop.

When you don't put spaces after the full stop,
All the words looks as if they're all bundled up.
For example,
My name is Kritz.Selangor is where I am right now.I like cheese.I like cookies too.Don't you like cookies too?

It doesn't hurt to space.
S p a c e people,
We need more s p a c e .

And,
Especially for those,
Who have gigantic fonts or a small space for words,
When you don't space between the full stop and the first word of the new sentence,
The word before the full stop will be dragged along to the next line,
Which is another eyesore for me.

Example :
*copied this from my previous post, where the sentence ends exactly at the edge of my green word field. lol*

[56] You always done your homeworks/assignments: Sentence error? Anyway, no, lol.

It will be in two lines.

Without space :
[56] You always done your homeworks/assignments: Sentence error?Anyway, no, lol.

You see?

I wonder if I am actually a perfectionist,
But I definitely don't seem like one,
But sometimes I feel like one.

Oh never mind,
End of random post.

I need a room ...

Been sleeping in my parent's room for quite sometime,
Since my room became a guest room.
I really miss that freezing cold air-conditioner :(

What's worse was that my mother wasn't feeling well,
She didn't want to switch on the air-cond,
All I had was wind movement in the room.

I want cold air and no wind movement :(

Anyway,
Got much tuition homework to catch up with,
I actually think I'm interested in those scientific stuff.

Sigh,
I'm still thinking whether should I take up more subjects or not.
I'll have to have a lot of determination,
Because if I were to do that,
I'll have to be more hard working,
Maybe 5 times more hard working than my present situation.

Back to holiday talk,
Remember how I told myself I want to learn something,
It's not working.

I'm thinking of making a timetable,
For example few hours study what the tuition teacher has covered,
Few hours for online life,
Few hours for learning something new,
Few hours for book reading.

But what's the point,
As if that will happen.

1 month left!
Feels like it's going to end already.
:(

Class gathering!!

Today was the day my fellow primary classmates gathered together for a reunion.

It was just like yesterday when we were studying in class and getting prepared for UPSR ...

Anyway,
I arrived at Ning Jin's house quite early,
But there were already a few of them over there.

Everything was so cold at first ...

Us guys were kinda talking a little at the start,
And they were all shy to eat the food.

Guys, lol.

Started eating,
Talking,
Chatting,
Laughing,
Teasing...

Everything was like the way it would have been 3 years ago.
And everything was just warming up.

After the arrival of our beloved class teacher,
Everything was even more heated up.
Girls went in while the guys started eating the leftovers.

I told you they were shy.

We spent time chatting more,
Each in their gangs or little cliques,
But I don't think anyone got left out.

Out of a sudden,
The the lights went off and the only thing we could see in the living room was the lights flashing from cellphones.
Of all the times,
It decided to blackout.

We all moved out,
And the whole environment made everyone more hyped up.

Teh Ee Chern was doing his thing,
Performing in the dark while we all cheered and clapped.
Even Gan Chee Yiap joined in,
He played the piano,
One of Jay Chou's recent song,
And Wee Sen was rapping to it.

Lights came back,
We all went back in.

Everyone continued whatever they were doing,
And people started to go back.
Around 10 pm,
I went back.

In my class,
There will always be one to make the whole environment alive,
And the others of us to contribute to it.
Even the teacher was amazing,
After 3 years she could still remember most of us,
Joking around together with us.

One doesn't need to fight for attention in this gang,
We are more like one whole class,
Everyone playing their own role to make it the way it is.
Being the lively semi-nerds we are,
I think it's unlikely for us to stray away,
Deep down inside we will always be a part of 6H.

p.s. I didn't want to mention names much because I'm afraid that I might misspell most of them,
Since I only remember them by pronunciation and not by spelling.

Coincidence? I hope not.

Yesterday,
While I was looking for some band that I've heard on MTV,
Well,
I couldn't really recall the band's name.

Out of a sudden,
I felt an urge to switch on MTV,
In case I miss them or something.

I tried remembering the band's name,
But failed.
If I were to see it again,
I will recognise it.

So yeah,
I was watching this music video,
Which obviously wasn't the song I was looking for,
But the band seemed familiar.

Could it be them?

That's the great thing about bands,
The always have that distinct style,
And they will never fail to make music the way you like it.
lol.

So anyway,
The band name appeared and it was really them!!

Coincidence?
I hope not.

I hope I have powers. LOL
Sixth sense or something.

p.s. band's name is Glasvegas,
Some Scottish one.

* * *
Today,
Went to the hospital to visit my grandmother.

After that,
Went for dinner at some restaurant in Puteri Puchong area.

We ate at Chop Steaks,
And it's like F1,
Cheap western food plus some Chinese food.

When my mother's dish was served,
Followed by my father's,
I was just waiting there,
Munching down some coleslaw.

Turns out,
THEY DIDN'T RECORD MY ORDER!!

Next time,
I should just shout randomly to remind them or make sure they don't leave it out.

When everyone finished,
I was just starting to eat.

Food was okay,
And I think it has something to do with F1 because it was printed on the tissue.

Went 7-11 to find some online game client,
But either they don't understand me,
Or they really don't have it.

Went to Giant,
Walked around,
Did nothing,
Went back.

Now here I am,
Going to continue my series!
I'll blog about what I'm watching next time.

Oh. My. Gosh.

And yeah,
I just came back home from tuition,
And my mother tells me this thing,
That totally BLEW ME AWAY.

LIKE KABOOM.

Log on to http://www.apple.com/my/

And you'll see something like this.

AHHHHHHHHH *screams*

For more info about Apple products,
Go do your own homework in that site.

Anyway,
As most of you know,
I've been dreaming for an iPod nano,
But now ...

With online shipping service ...

I CAN GET MY RED COLOUR IPOD!!

Lovely,
Isn't it?

It's a special thing,
Read more about (RED) stuff here.

PLUS!

I get to engrave whatever I want to engrave there!!

Okay.
Chill Kritz.

*breathes in*

*breathes out*

I'm not even getting my results yet,
And I'm already panicking.

Okay,
I don't want to bother that much.

READERS.
I want comments and views of the iPod colour and words to engrave!

I don't want to regret ... if I were to get one ... online ...

It's hard.

Seriously.
It's so hard to change my bad habits.

Slacked around the whole day once again.
Let me see what I should have done,
  1. Start reading my books. Bought since the warehouse sale, left untouched.
  2. Finish up my tuition homework. For your information, tuition homework is a LOT.
  3. Learn ... something. Already asked my parents to help me spot some places that teach computer hardware assembling centres.
  4. Download Heroes. Promised my friend to do that, if only I could just buy the DVDs.
  5. Do ... something.
Let me see what have I done,
  1. Cubing. As in Rubik's cube cubing.
  2. Listen to music.
  3. Surfed forums and fan forums.
  4. Rot. In. Front. Of. The. Computer.
Well,
Back to cubing!

Back to where I should be.

Back to blogging cheesy, lame, meaningless, long, badly composed long rants about WHAT I THINK.

Sad.

Back to the Innit Board I guess.
Since there's no harm,
But I'll promise myself not to lose myself,
For example like those people who blog for the sake of attracting temporary traffic...

But who am I to judge?
Right? ;)

A lot of things have been going through my mind these days,
But I'm just so lazy to blog about them.

They are just too mixed up.
Imagine when you lie on the bed,
And all these thoughts come bombarding you,
One second it'll be about this,
And suddenly something else arises...

Thank goodness that I fall asleep easily,
Or else I would be flippin' around in my bed @_@

I guess I'll take my time and write them all down,
Maybe it will make me feel better.

Let me recall what happen a few days ago ...

.
.
.
.
.

I can't remember anything.
Oh wait,
I went dinner with relatives yesterday night,
Nice Christmas decoration near Sunway Pyramid

.

And I have so many songs to catch up to,
So backtracked.

TIME TO DO SOMETHING!

Genting.

The view from our cable car,
Or 'Gondola'?

My father had the Silver Member card for Genting,
So we skipped the long queue and went to the express lane!

This is the front of the casino.
Couldn't go in,
Of course.
Had to be 21.
Age limits pfft.

First world.

Checked in quite late,
So didn't get to go to the outdoor theme park,
So sad ;_;

Ate KFC.
Yum ^^

Played Flying Coaster,
Where people lied on the tummies and flew on a roller coaster!
It's just like Superman flying,
Just very different.
lol.
The ride was less than a minute,
Spent RM12.
(12 each, but we had one free :D)

Went to the Motion Master (4D thing)
Lame.
Lame.
Lame.
So much different than the ones I used to have long ago.
Last time it was more concentrated on chair movement,
Now with all those 3D stuff,
It was so ... lame.
Free though,
Father had World Points.

Rested a little,
Went to watch Quantum of Solace,
Which wasn't played in a cinema,
It was in some Arena of Stars?
Or some other arena.

It was just wrong.
The whole stage wasn't made for cinema watching,
It was for performing.
And the seats were just like chairs,
Thus no place to put my hands.

To increase to the sadness,
2 bald westerners HAD to sit right in front of me.
I had to watch the whole movie with 2 egged shaped heads hogging a part of my vision.

The movie was not bad though.

Went back to the room,
In the Resort Hotel,
(There's Highland hotels, Resort hotel, First world hotel, Genting hotel, Theme park hotel ... )
I spent time alone when my father went out to the casino.

Played PSP,
Watched TV,
Listened to music on my phone,
Slept.

Woke up at 6,
No idea why so serious early.

Ate something light before going out for lunch.

I suck at taking pictures,
I know.

Sigh.

Hope I'll get to the theme park soon,
I crave for it.
I want my dose of adrenaline rush.

Finally!

Yes, I know,
Pathetic pictures.

Anyway,
I FINALLY GOT MY HANDS ON A 160GB EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE!!
Wee~~

Thanks to my father / mother / whoever who paid for this.

* * *
Sigh.
I found out that my PSP Memory Stick is a fake one.

:(

Going to Genting tomorrow!

Hibernate mode. lol.

Expect lesser posts,
Wait,
No one expects posts. lol.

Anyway,
I'll be posting a lot less since it's the holidays already and all exciting activities are away from me.

Er,
Recently playing the Rubik's cube,
Currently able to solve all sides around 4 minutes.

The other day,
I went to the hospital to visit my grandmother.
Ate supper at SS 2 after that,
Thanks to my mum,
Expensive supper :P

What else,
Er,
Er,
Nothing much I guess >.>

KLCC - Sky Bridge

Yesterday,
The last day of school,
Around 80 Form 3 students went to the Sky Bridge trip.

We had to wear horrid PJ T-shirts and track bottoms,
So not comfortable.

Anyway,
The Sky Bridge was located on the 41st floor of KLCC,
If I remember correctly.

Walked around in the small exhibition room about KLCC,
Watched some video clip about KLCC,
And went up to the Sky Bridge.

Here are some badly taken pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Taken from the Sky Bridge. *looking downwards*

*overall view*

*facing up*

*Facing down* the bars holding up the Sky Bridge.

Another picture.

*toy cars :D*

Weird shape.

Looking to the right.

Schoolmates. The bridge.

Bridge.

Picture.

Running out of captions.

Yeah.

Bridge again.

*yawn* sick of captioning.

Anyway,
It wasn't that bad,
Kinda cool.

I saw other schoolmates using SLRs and stuff,
Like wow.
Cool.

Since all of us took turns to go up to the Sky Bridge,
And I was in the 2nd group,
We had time to lurk around.

At first we just wanted to go to the toilet,
I was interested in the RM 2 toilet while some went to the free ones.
There were some products laid there for our use but that person there walking around made me feel uneasy.

After that,
We didn't want to go back.
So we continued to walk around.
Me, Josh and Blake went to Cold Storage to buy something light to eat,
And on our way out,
I saw a Toys 'R' Us banner!

No,
I'm not childish.

I wanted to buy a Rubik's cube!
Never thought I had this chance,
And I didn't want to lose this chance.
So I immediately ran off to the store and bought my lovely Rubik's cube <3
RM24.95,
Others thought I was crazy.

Oh by the way,
I can solve it,
I don't buy for the sake of buying.

Continued walking and decided to go back,
Saw them moving to some place else,
So we just followed.

Suppose to go to the park,
But it was going to rain,
So we just headed back home.

Reached school,
Ate our free lunches,
Went back to class for the last time.

To reminisce the good old times, lol.

Oh yeah,
Before I end,
My lovely Rubik's cube <3

:D

November 3, 2008

Accused.

Suddenly I don't feel like blogging about it any more.
Joking.

Anyway,
There was this 'amazing' programme in school,
PPSMI or something like that.

We were suppose to find our own groups.

And our teacher told us to mix races,
But when we asked,
No one was interested in leaving their groups,
And the teacher didn't say anything after that,
So we just leave our group as it is.

After that,
I went out to help a teacher,
Typing certificates and stuff like that.

Then when I went back to the school hall,
They were already doing the 3rd paper.

Out of a sudden,
The teacher in charge started scolding us,
Because our group only consists of Chinese.

She started increasing her volume,
Mentioning words like 'perkauman' and stuff,
*rolls eyes*

So what?
So now we are a bunch of racists?
Rejecting Malay students to join our group?
What did we do anyway?
So what if other groups have 1 or 2 persons of the different race?
It's just because they're lucky that others are willing to join you.
And does that make them so non-racist and full of moral values?
We didn't even do anything.
And we did not reject other people from joining us,
It's just that no one else wanted to join us.

Furthermore,
We DID try to ask others to join.
Was there a need to scold us in that way?

Some people are just so ridiculous,
What 'perkauman'?
Racial issue now?
SELANGOR: Students Are Said To Be Stirring Up Racial Issues Because They Did Not Have Other Races In Their Groups.
Absurd.

On the bright side,
Tomorrow's the last day of school for Form 3 students who are participating in the trip to Sky Bridge, KLCC.
For others,
Today would be the last day.

And I thought last year ended all of a sudden,
This year,
It just ended,
Like that.

Solemn State.

My grandmother was recently admitted into a hospital,
Due to some health problems.
According to my parents,
She got stroke,
But I'm not sure about how serious it is.

It's not that I don't care,
It's just that I don't know how to react to this.

Now,
Everyone's in this miserable and sad state,
Gloominess and moodiness is thick in the air,
Everything seems so ... different.

I guess this is just a part of life,
But I guess everyone is reluctant to face it.

Sigh,
So ... weird.
So ... unexplainable.

Well,
I just hope everything will go well and life will resume it's natural course,
Or maybe the course that we all want it to be.

* * *
Today,
There was suppose to be 4 outings,
One to KL,
But was cancelled,
One to my classmate's house,
But I'm not in the mood to face some people there,
One to my church outing,
And the last one to my primary friend's house.

In the end,
I went to my friend's house.

I met Ee Chern, Wee Sen, Jing Wen, Ning Jin and Shu Min there.
It was Ning Jin's house by the way.

The main agenda was to plan our coming primary classmates' gathering.
SJK (c) Yak Chee, class 6H, 2005.
I felt so excited before meeting them,
I thought things wouldn't be the same any more.

But I was wrong.

In less than 5 minutes,
We talked as if we've been close all along.
Of course,
All of them were closer because most of them are in the same school,
With the only exception which is me,
The only odd ball to go to a faraway school,
The last place others would want to go.

So we brainstormed for quite some time,
Giving ideas that will be perfect for our gathering.
So we've decided almost everything,
Information is as follows :
Venue : Ning Jin's house.
Date : 23rd November. (Sunday)
Time : 6pm - 10pm.
Price : RM15 (Still not confirmed)
I hope every 2005 6H graduate will be there,
I can't wait to meet everyone.

This small gathering kinda lifted my mood a little,
I laughed most of the time.
The whole atmosphere was so different compared to the way my current classmates and I talk.
How I wish we could share that same bond,
I felt so 'myself' with my primary classmates.

I guess,
It's different.

Another reason why I can't wait to be an 18-year-old.

As I was surfing around GSC,
Checking what movies are there to watch ...

Everything is 18PL.
No fair.
Argh.

Oh,
I skipped school today.
Nothing to do.
Meh.

Happy Deepavali :D

Yeah! Happy Deepavali :D

Basically that's all I want to say about that event.
I should end my post here.

Nah,
That's too short.

Anyway,
I've been wondering,
Can anyone introduce me something that is similar to Reader's Digest?
But in Malay and Chinese?
And yes,
I know there is a Chinese version of Reader's Digest,
I just want something else.

Please tell me if you know any ._.

Reader's Digest is not bad at all :D
For example,
There's this small part that I found it interesting.

It's in the latest November 2008's copy,
Page 33,
In the 'Ask Aunty' (advice) section.

Dear Aunty,
My husband is patient, lovable and caring. He packs my lunch each day with a handwritten love note, changes the kitty litter, mows the lawn, etc. But he's a slob. When he packs my lunch, he uses a paper towel to wipe his hands, then wads it up and tosses it on the counter. It'll sit there forever. When he brushes his teeth, he spits all over the spigot. He loves to read the newspaper, but throws it on the couch and it lies there for a week. I'm no Suzie Homemaker, but I'm not his mother, either. How can I get him to clean up after himself?
HELP!!!

Dear HELP!!!,
You want help? Most women would love to have your husband. How about this? While hubby is packing your lunch, composing handwritten love notes, mowing the lawn and cleaning the litter box, why don't you pick up the newspaper, wipe the counter and then leave him a note telling him what a treasure he is. On behalf of women everywhere, embrace this man!

So true!!
Now, now, ladies,
Don't be too demanding!

Form 4. SPM. And beyond.

I really pity us good students,
Killing brain cells deciding which subjects to take.
(Of course, if you just want to take the basic subjects and don't wish to further burden yourself, doesn't mean you're a bad student.)
(Why am I so afraid of offending others anyway.)

As I mentioned,
Our school teachers gave us a brief talk about the subjects that we would be taking next year.
It didn't really covered all the questions in mind,
Oh wait,
It didn't quite help at all.

So basically,
There are 6 base subjects,
Which are :-
  1. Moral / Islam (Depending on your religion)
  2. Science (Excluded if you're taking Science stream, since it already consists of 3 Science subjects)
  3. Mathematics (a.k.a. Modern Mathematics)
  4. English
  5. Bahasa Melayu
  6. Sejarah (History)
And there's Sivik (Civics) too, it's a subject but not the SPM subject.

There are various streams to suit everyone,
Mainly :-
  1. Sains Tulen (Pure Science)
  2. Pengajian Islam (Islamic subjects)
  3. Sastera Ikhtisas
  4. Teknologi (Technology)
  5. Sains dan Teknologi (Science and Technology)
  6. Sains Sosial - Kemanusiaan (More of ... humanities? Social Science? Geography, English Literature and Music)
List of subjects here at Wikipedia

I'll probably be taking Pure Science,
But I'm considering of taking more elective subjects.

Oh yeah,
In my school,
Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seksyen 1, Bandar Kinrara,
There are 4 pakages :-
  1. Pure Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Additional Mathematics)*
  2. Sastera Ikhtisas (Basic Economics, Additonal Mathematics and Principles of Accounts)
  3. Kemanusiaan + Sastera Ikhtisas (Basic Economics and Visual Arts Education)
  4. Kemanusiaan + Sastera Ikhtisas (Business and Visual Arts Education)
All including 6 Compulsory subjects except *Pure Science, which is 5 without Science

Okay,
Since I'm going to take Pure Science ...
  1. Bahasa Melayu
  2. English
  3. Mathematics
  4. Sejarah
  5. Pendidikan Moral
  6. Physics*
  7. Chemistry*
  8. Biology*
  9. Additional Mathematics*
*The 3 electives.

And for others ... I'm thinking ...
  1. Principle of Accounts
  2. Bible Knowledge
  3. English for Science and Technology (EST)
  4. Bahasa Cina
  5. English Literature
Most probably I'm taking EST and Chinese for sure,
But I'm still not sure about others.
I can't believe our school's not going to teach EST any more,
What am I suppose to do ._.

Bible Knowledge I can learn in church,
Accounts I can learn in tuition centre,
But I'm still wondering where to learn English Literature.

And don't be afraid,
I don't think I'll be taking 14 subjects.
I'm just saying,
I wonder how many times I need to repeat that,
I'm just saying,
14 is kinda ... for smart nerdy students,
If I were to study for 14 subjects,
I don't think I'll have time for life.

Sigh,
Next year,
It's going to be jam packed with studies and tuition,
Better slack now before it's too late!

The Story of a Sad Little Girl.

She just wanted to go out.
She just wanted to see a person.
But the sad cruel world did everything possible to stop her.

Sad, sad, sad little girl.

Phone call after phone call,
Rejections came pouring down like rain,
What was hurtful turned numb.

Hours and hours later,
She gave up.
She was helpless.
She went home.
Sad and miserable.

All we could do was stand aside,
As we pitied her,
We couldn't do anything.

That one chance,
To step out and breathe fresh air,
To have fun with her fellow friends,
All turned into dust.

* * *
Sad.
Poor Hui Teng,
Wanted to see Raymond Lam a.k.a. Lam Fung (林峰),
At Pavillion,
But out of a sudden everyone just can't go,
And I'm not allowed to go if there's only 2 people.
Blake, Angeline, Fiona, Kar Mern, Josh, Joshua, Samantha, Brandon, Alvin, Ken Tze, Xiang Min, Wai Leong and others which I don't know at all,
All couldn't go with us.

Sigh.
And my grandmother is so friggin' annoying when she came,
How I wish she would just go back to her village.
She wasn't even nagging,
She was using a sarcastic and angry tone while she was talking,
Thank goodness that not many people understand.

She's got issues.

* * *
Okay.

Today,
We had a talk about next year's plannings,
All the streams and stuff,
I didn't even get the information I wanted.
They just gave a lot of useless information.
What for tell me about the chapters in the subjects?
I want to know WHAT IS IT ABOUT and not the CHAPTERS.

And I heard that they are not going to teach EST in school any more.
So where am I suppose to study for that?

I'll post all about the SPM stuff in the next post.
For now ...
Well ...
There's nothing much to do.
Have 5 days of holidays,
Bored.

Moody.

Don't ask why.
Because I don't know why.

...

I feel so ..
Restrained.

...

Anyway,
Today,
We did this Scholastic event,
About reading books so that Scholastic will donate books to charity,
Such as unfortunate kids or orphans.

Nothing much.

Watched Kung Fu Panda in the hall after that.

There will be a briefing about SPM streams and stuff tomorrow,
Looking forward to that!

And Secondhand Serenade is nice!
