To that someone I highly respect.

Yeah.
I have interest in nothing.
I do not like anything,
Forcing myself to have interest in something does not work,
Neither does you complain or so called reverse psychology.

It is not like I am the one who made myself lose interest in anything,
Or more accurately I never had,
But what can I do?

Maybe if some day,
I find something that I like,
Then I'll have interest in something.

Oh yeah,
Creativity.
You think I did not put any effort,
Or just do not care about it.

You think if I have an idea,
I can move it from my brain onto a piece of paper?
You think if I have an idea,
Then everything shall be done?

Sorry to be rude or anything,
But I really, really hate this.
I myself wish to find something that I am interested in,
Instead of wasting precious time like this.

And yeah,
Maybe I have no future.
Let it be then.

Results.

Finally got every single paper back,
As good as it may seem,
It is still disappointing.

That one shot of a chance to get straight As just got foiled as my Living Skills paper came back.

Never mind,
I'll try harder next time.
(Yeah right!)

Things have been disturbing these days,
As it has always,
Just that I am on the verge of exploding.

Why do I need to put up with all these,
Can't I just live life as other teenagers would.
What did I do to deserve this.

You probably would not understand what I'm blabbering about,
But one thing is for sure,
You would not want to be a part of it.

So basically,
This whole week was about exam results.
Quite boring.

*sigh*

I'll start writing random stuff :

I want to watch Babylon A.D. but there are a lot of bed reviews on it so should I watch or not?

Darren Shan is so amazing, too bad I can't crawl up in my room for days and just read, I have a life to attend to.

Chewing gum is so chewy and addictive, lol.

Something is wrong with my webcam, it will turn on and start snapping pictures, quite scary.

I slept almost 12 for every single day, I think I should sleep earlier.

I want to drink milk ._.

I should start studying for Living Skills since it was my worst subject ... er ... not today :P

I have that ... empty feeling, as if something is missing or I'm just misplaced.

Some people are so bad at covering themselves.

Some people like to ask very very very very stupid questions.

I continue to crave for my iPod Nano.

I want to buy Daughtry's deluxe edition if it comes out.

I want to buy OneRepublic's one too.

Blah.

Blah.

What else do I have to say,
Er,
To who it may concern,
Can you please shut up and talk when necessary,
I am getting annoyed.
Thank you.

Pressure...

Just recently,
One of my friends talked about pressure,
As in pressure from our parents.

Her pressure is about another thing,
Mine is something else.

I think this post will sound stupid and cheesy,
Because I am not quite good at writing such things.

I am sure that everyone knows what is pressure,
Especially for those who normally do good in their exams.
I would be lying if I were to say that my results are terrible,
But I personally think it is not good enough.

Maybe because I have not try putting my best efforts in it.

I appreciate the fact that my parents don't give me too much pressure,
Except for the fact that they do not expect me to get bad grades.
This is understandable because it is logical,
Even I myself do not wish to drop.
But maintaining my grades tend to exert pressure by itself.

Not many of my friends understand what I am going through,
A lot of them just do whatever they like to do.
Sorry if it sounds rude.

What's worse is that I do give myself an equally disturbing amount of pressure too.
I seriously hate it when people come around asking,
"Kritz! What happened? Why like that?"
The only way to avoid that is to try my best.

*sigh*
I think I should stop thinking.
This is just meaningless.

Telling myself to forget about things that I should.

6 THINGS I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT :
1. Music : OneRepublic and Daughtry

3. Staring into blank space, allowing my mind to be in a blank state.

1. Dunno.
2. Huh?
3. What?
4. I'm bored.
5. I'm boring. (Like seriously, no joke)

Trials Results.

*heart pumping*

*blood level rising*

*stomach churning*

*hyperventilating*

*adrenaline rushing*

Okay,
Getting too far.

So far I have got my results for the following 5 subjects.

[Malay] 84%
[Maths] 92%
[Chinese] 81%
[History] 78%
[Science] 84%

*oh yea, my school considers 75% and above to be A*

Words can't describe how over the moon I feel right now.
Even though it is not the results that a super genius would get,
But it's quite good for me already.

Mid year results [here]

My top 2 subjects dropped a little,
Okay quite a lot.
But still,
It has been a long time since I gotten an A for my History.

My Chinese also improved,
A lot.
Never expected my Chinese results to start with the number 8,
Or maybe it is because teacher marked less strict?
Essay 27/30 woot!

Malay was unexpected too.
38/40 for my essay!!! *screams and faint*

Thanks to Ming Huey's father for lunch,
Wanted to pay myself,
>.>

Oh yea,
I predict my Geography to be an A too!
82%!!
I just got answers from my friend,
I feel so happy now despite feeling tired and moody.

Contradicting I know.

Should not have slept late last night,
Now I feel all dizzy and tired,
Yawning through my whole day.

I should get some shut-eye,
Or maybe not!

It's that time again.

It's that time again.
Time to complain that the holidays aren't long enough.

I guess a lot of other students will do the same too.

Saying holidays are too short isn't quite accurate,
From what I see,
Holidays seem to feel much more slower than schooling days,
But we just don't get enough of it.

So basically,
Besides going out,
I was spending quality time with my computer.

Playing Maple Story,
Listening to some songs,
Chatting with some friends,
And poof,
There goes one week.

So much for saying that I will study for this holiday,
But now,
I have gotten so used to that I-should-have-studied-but-it-didn't feel,
I don't even feel guilty about it any more.

And yeah that is a bad thing.

Oh yea I have been reading Darren Shan these days,
I LOVE THEM <3

What else ...
I thought of blogging about the friends I have and the music genre I like,
But I'll leave that for later.

For now,
I should be doing the book that was given by my teacher,
As the so called holiday homework.

Stop procrastinating ...
Gah,
Never mind,
It will never work,
Might as well continue to procrastinate and spend time the way I like it.

But,
No,
That is wrong.

Went to church today,
Missed youth for 4 weeks,
Feel so much better now,
Wondering whether should I join the 2-day-camp next week.

Oh well,
Farewell lovely holidays,
I'll see you after PMR.

*pulls computer back*
Hey,
You are not going anywhere,
You stay with me!

Movie Review : 21

An MIT math whiz is recruited by a teacher to join a specialized team, the Blackjack Team, of card counters. They break away from their mentor before casino security finally catches up with them.

Based on the best-selling book by Ben Mezrich “Bringing Down the House: The Inside Story of Six MIT Students Who Took The Vegas for Millions”.

-GSC
This is the main actor of the movie.

Ben Campbell (Jim Sturgess)

Time to play ... or count

Cards, cards, cards.

Jill Taylor (Kate Bosworth)

Looking hot.

In disguise.

The mentor.

Prof. Micky Rosa (Kevin Spacey)

The Oscar winner.

Yay maths!

Starting ...

Moving in ...

:O

Mentor and mentee

BUSTED... oops, was that a spoiler?

Blackjack class.

Planning and everything.

Cheers (:

We're going in!!

Blonde moment?

More cards.

Yea? Anything?

Other 2 friends from school.

So basically,
The movie is about Ben,
Who is a genius.

He plans to get 300,000 dollars from the blackjack thing,
To pay for his studies.

He joins this Blackjack team,
Which means they count cards,
I don't know what the heck they were saying but it seemed cool!

But hey,
It's Vegas baby,
Who could resist cold hard cash?

Nice movie,
(seems like every movie is nice to me >.>)
I like movies that revolve around money @_@
Furthermore gambling (:
And also a glimpse of how a luxurious life would be in Vegas!!

Okay,
Go watch,
I'd say it's worth watching.

***

Went out with Fiona and Josh,
Thanks to Angeline for ditching us.
Thanks to Fiona's mother for the transport.
We went there,
Collected our tickets,
Watched the movie,
Came out and ate at Kim Gary.
Seriously,
Finding a place to eat is hard work.

Movie Review : WALL-E

To start off,
That robot is WALL-E.

Cockroach!

In the future,
The Earth we know will be filled by trash,
Thanks to irresponsible humans.

Oooo, shiny.

Humans set off into a space ship,
And robots like WALL-E are left on Earth to clean up the mess.

Interesting ...

But apparently,
It was a failure.
Life couldn't sustain on earth.

*stares in to blank space*

But WALL-E still did what he was programmed to do,
Compiling trash.

Me and my bag

But soon after,
He will discover what he was meant for.

Sunlight goodness

Then came,
Something new,
That will change his life.

scanning... scanning...

WALL-E meets EVE.

A lightbulb, ironic much.

aww. look at that.

They embark on an adventure,
To do what they are supposed to do.

Isn't that a spaceship?

Meet M-O

The neat-freak

To bring humans back to Earth.

*hangs on tight*

Weee~ So beautiful~

CHARRRGGEEE

Wow, nice sight.

o.o

Red button

Wanna sit beside me?

In my opinion,
I think this show is totally worth watching.
It's not as amazing as The Dark Knight,
It's a totally different thing.

I think it's more of a piece of art,
A Sci-fi movie disguised in a cartoon,
(quoted from somewhere I can't remember).

For kids,
It might be just a movie about 2 robots loving each other,
But there's a strong message behind it.

Without even saying much,
They managed to touch hearts of the people watching it.

It's a movie that makes you go "awwwww", "noooo" and might even get you teary,
It's just ... so cute,
So ... I don't know how to explain,
Just the loneliness of being alone on the planet full of trash gives me that weird feel.

If you're a insensitive fiend,
You could skip this movie,
Or else,
I strongly suggest you to go watch it!

August 16, 2008

Nothing to blog about.

Yeah,
Seriously.
Nothing.

You know what?
Normally when I do something I'm not suppose to do because I have something else more important to do,
I feel guilty.
For example,
Slacking off when I'm suppose to get ready for my exams or finish up my homework that was left abandoned for weeks,
Slowly building in volume,
Trying to drown me in it.

But,
It's the HOLIDAYS!
Why is that stupid feeling coming back?
When I was playing Maple,
I was like ..
Okay I should stop now and go do ...
Do what anyway o.o?

*sigh*

So not in the holiday mood yet.

ps. that feeling doesn't work, it just comes, nothing much.

Tagged by Kentze.

No instructions were given,
But I guess it's about my favourites.

Number : Nothing specific... seriously.

Colour : Currently like red. Bright red. Black will do too, and white, and yellow, and green, and blue.

Day : Er ... logically speaking, I should love Saturdays. But weekdays can be fun sometimes.

Month : Month, December, month of holidays.

Song : This is hard. I think anything from OneRepublic would do.

Food : Japanese for now, I miss them so much ._. Chinese food ain't bad too, Western's okay too, what else?

Sport : I'm not that much of an athlete ... maybe badminton -.-

Drink : Ice Lemon Tea <3 Coconut juice <3 Justea <3 etc etc

Candy : Dark chocolate @_@ *drools* Oh oh oh, and chocolate covered raisins.

Ice Cream : For basic favours, I'd go for blueberry or chocolate, for exotic ones ... not so sure.

Season : Winter, they weather that everyone in Malaysia would love to have.

Band : This is hard. OneRepublic, duhh. And Daughtry, not really sure about others.

Movie : THE DARK KNIGHT WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO......

Website : Er ... I don't know.

Animal : Cute little puppies I guess. But not responsible enough for one.

Item of Clothing : What item? Item can mean anything. Clothing ... something loose, heh.

Word : No idea.

Place : Those lovely getaways, where I get to live in a villa with a back door leading to my own private beach, and I want a DSLR with me, and I want a gigantic comfy bed for myself, and I want an amazing Internet connection. But not for long though, might get boring.

I tag : Sheep, Fiona and maybe Cherrie again. (For Cherrie it's optional because she seems busy o.o) Oh yeah, and TJiuns too.

Fair share of sadness and happiness.

Why. WHYYY. WHY MUST THEY CLASH TOGETHER.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....

Anyway the happy is what EXAMS ARE OVAAA. (I meant over, in a strong way, not literal ova)
When the teacher was collecting exam answer sheets,
She was kinda shocked that I took Chinese,
Because she thought I was English educated or something.

:D

Then she said that she read a poem I wrote and it was amazing!

:D

Wait, poem?

o.o?

Then she said it was from my BLOG.

O.O!?

She said it was nice and amazing and stuff like that.

Er ... :D

Weee~~~

And I think someone was jealous,
Hohohoho.

And that utterly sad thing ...
Is ...
...

I SCORED 39/40 FOR MY MATHS PAPER 1 BECAUSE I FILLED IN THE WRONG ANSWER IN MY ANSWER SHEET.

OH THE FISHCAKES! BASKET! BANANAAAA! DONKKEYYY! MONKEEYYYYY! EFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

Okay,
If I got 1 wrong,
I wouldn't mind.

BUT FILLING IN THE WRONG ANSWER IS JUST SO FRIGGIN' STUPID.

OMGOSH I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT HAPPENED!!!!!1!!1111one!11one!111

This morning I ate bread.
A hot dog to be precise.
Not those 1901, just normal bakery type.

After chomping down 1 without looking at it,
I reached out to grab a second one.

(Yes am a glutton...)

To my horror,
I saw black spots stuff on the bread.
IT WAS MOULD.

And I thought that was the end of it,
Maybe take it out and I can continue eating it.

But I was so, so, so wrong.

When I took out the sausage,
I don't know why I did that,
The mould on it looked 10 times grosser.

Like, SOME FRIGGING LIVING CREATURE ON THAT SAUSAGE,
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

To think that I actually ate one already.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
THE HORRORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Now I wanna puke whenever that image crosses my mind,
*brr*

Thank God I didn't get diarrhoea during my trials,
Imagine that thing in my stomach.

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW...

Other people are already poppin' champagne and I still have Chinese to sit for.

Oh wait,
Chinese.

Oh my gosh,
CHINESE!

AHHHHHHHH,
CHINESEEE.

Just Felt Like Blogging About It.

There's so much hype over the Beijing Olympics these days,
I might as well hop in the bandwagon and blog about it too.

But of course,
I'm gonna say something else about it.

You know,
Channel 318 on astro shows about Olympics but from TVB.
Or something like that.

The speaker (or whatever you call him) was so ... annoying.
I understand supporting your own country is a good thing,
But excessive favouritism irks me.

For example,
When Hong Kong's ping pong player was against Poland's.
Whenever HK's player is leading,
The guy will say something like :
"Comparing them, we can see that our player is more experienced ... "
"It's already winning ... "
"Poland's player is inexperience compared to our player ..."

What hits me more is when Poland's leading.
"HK's player just isn't used to playing against her ... "
"She's trying to get used to it ... "
"She's just warming up ... "

Too much, I'd say.

Bye Living Skills~

[Day 1]
[Day 2]
[Day 3]
[Day 4]
[Day 5]

Ahhhh ... 2 more days ...
Most of the other students will be sitting for the last day tomorrow ...
Because on Friday its Chinese and Tamil only,
And not many people take Tamil.

KH (Living skills) is finally over ;_;
I wanted to wake up 5.30am this morning,
But I set my alarm clock wrongly,
Set 6.30am instead >.>

Didn't even have time to touch my Science ...
Ahhhhh...

I'm not boasting ...
But people who say I have no problem handling Science and Maths is wrong.
Being one of the top in that 2 subjects ...
I have that pressure ... not to drop ...
I think I'm a sadistic freak who enjoys giving myself stress and pressure @_@

Why so SERIOUS?

lol

Tomorrow's Maths and Geography.
Can relax a little,
Since History and Living skills are already over ...

Pressure ;_;

[Day 1]
[Day 2]
[Day 3]
[Day 4]
[Day 5]

3 more ;_;

Today was English and MORAL!!
I can't believe we had to sit for moral even though it isn't a subject for PMR.

English was ... okay ...
Just the novel part was a little ... hard.
Had to write the importance of friendship o.o

Anyway,
Tomorrow's Science and Living Skills.
I hate KH,
I got 70% for that during my mid-year exams >.>

I plan to finish my tuition work,
Sleep,
Go tuition,
Come back,
Study @_@

Can't wait for all this to end!

I wanna watch movies ... play games ... read books ... go shopping ... go out ... enjoy life ... listen to songs ... chat on MSN ... catch up with my beauty sleep ...

August 11, 2008

1st day of trials.

I'm so tired @_@
My back aches ._.

Maybe it's because I didn't have sufficient beauty sleep.

I slept around 1am,
Woke up at 4,
Study till 6,
Slept till 6.30,
Wake and continued studying.

What a waste of time.

I still think I didn't do good in my History ._.
Blame myself for studying last minute.

But still deep down I wish I can get A .__.

Anyway,
Woke up around 8.30pm today,
Too tired.

I'm gonna sleep like a pig after the exams >.>

[Day 1]
[Day 2]
[Day 3]
[Day 4]
[Day 5]

1 down! 4 more to go!!

August 10, 2008

Note to self.

As most of you guys know,
Tomorrow's PMR trials for every single Form 3 student sitting for PMR.

And guess what,
History's on the 1st day.

Time for last minute cramming!!

Yesterday I tried studying in my room,
At night.
And yea,
You've guessed it,
I felt asleep.

Today,
Tried studying in my room,
Didn't work.

By the way,
I skipped church today...
Why? ...
Because ...
I'm a bad person ._.

Anyway,
Studying at my dining table totally works!
I don't know why,
Maybe it's that chair,
Or the table,
Or the bright lights and the fan.
But most importantly,
It's MY place to study (:

Yea,
I know,
I've been studying for 9 years,
It's kinda late to actually find a study spot =x

So far,
I've covered one chapter on History.
I'm doomed anyway.

Oh yea,
A BIG THANK YOU to TJIUNS for SMSing whenever I'm bored.
Even though it's a bunch of senseless crap,
But still,
Thank you (:

Looking for more SMSing people~
Sign up at the cbox =x

Malay Wedding

Quite interesting.
Sorry, no pictures.
Next time,
I should get one of those DSLRs and act like some photographer taking pictures.

Or just steal the memory card from the photographer.

Anyway,
It was my mother's boss' daughter's wedding.
Zoelina and Eusuf.

The bride and bridegroom walked in,
Bride with her lovely gown
And the bridegroom in his charming baju Melayu.

There was some Malay traditional ceremony,
Sprinkling water or something,
As a symbol of blessing.
I think.

Didn't get a clear shot of anything,
Started eating instead.

Beef rendang!
WOO~

My parents socialised around,
And I just stood around.

I still didn't get a clear look on what a Malay wedding is all about.
Other race ceremonies always seem to make me interested.

Helpless or unconcerned?

The noisy students in my class are like a troop of monkeys.
And among monkeys,
There'll always be a leader of monkeys.

A big one.

I'll call him BN.
(Not a political party, mind you. It's his initials.)

Teachers tend to complain about disciplinary problems among students,
But do they actually take action?

Or more accurately,
Does everyone of them care?

Why so much fuss about it when teachers couldn't care less in class?
My say is :
"Either you totally don't care, or take strict measures all the time"

Comparison :
Teacher A and Teacher B.

Teacher A gives us all homework and goes on with her own work.
She sits at a place where she can easily glance all over the classroom.
Those monkeys with their leader, BN,
Enjoy themselves with whatever monkeys enjoy doing.
Basically,
They run around hitting each other,
Playing with handsets and everything,
And the teacher acts as if nothing has happened.

At first,
I thought the teacher just wasn't concerned.
I thought she just didn't care and had to let them be.
Or she didn't want to create problems.
But then again,
She might be already numb or fed-up about it.
Or probably gave up trying.
Whichever it was,
It wasn't the best thing to do,
And a total opposite of what teacher B would do.

Teacher B,
On the other hand,
Couldn't stand the slightest noise or disobedience.
She clearly stated that the bags should be left outside.
(we were in some room)
BN just sat there and didn't budge,
Despite the fact that teacher was already starting to shout at him.
Poor teacher got so angry and she immediately threw his bag right out of the room and started calling who-knows-who-was-it.

From my observations,
Indian and Chinese teachers tend to work their anger and take drastic actions against disciplinary problems such as the one mentioned above.
I'm not being a racist,
It's my observations.

*sigh*
Why do I even care.

Being a Teacher for One Day.

For your information,
I've been selected as one of the mentors for some Science and Maths program in school.

Teachers made this program to target students who scored 25% and below for their exams,
Hoping that this program might help them to at least pass in their PMR exams.

It wasn't as bad as what I thought it would be,
But still,
It wasn't that amazing too.

Science was almost impossible to teach.
Most of them couldn't understand the theories,
And theories are mostly meant to be known and not understood.

Quite a few of us gave up teaching science and just let them write answers,
And when I try explaining,
They probably nod, nod and nod,
But get nothing at all.

Maybe it's because they couldn't grasp it at all,
Should have started from scratch.

Or I just suck at mentoring.

I really salute those who actually put effort into explaining to those mentees.

Maths was better and easier to explain.

There was this boy,
One of my mentee,
I think he actually understood what I've explained during maths.
He actually manage to do quite a lot of questions.
Maybe he might be just nodding for the sake of nodding,
But I don't mind assuming that he really understood =x

After explaining quite a few questions,
It was already the end of the session,
The end of the whole school session.
He actually said thanks to me.
Then again,
I might have mistaken,
But it really seemed as if he learnt something from me.

I guess that's what being a teacher is all about?

*teary eyes*
Okay,
I'm not that emotional.
But ... it was quite a nice feeling that you don't feel everyday.

Considering that my mentee was a Malay,
Which makes communicating harder,
Things still went smoothly,
I guess at the end,
It is rewarding (:

Speaking of mentees being Malays,
I practically spoke Malay for 2 days,
And found out how I really sucked at speaking Malay.

Oh ya,
There's this very very rude teacher,
I don't want to mention names since they are going to make a big fuss over it,
But please,
You're rude.
Palaliao -.-

End of the two day programme,
I really hope mentees and even mentors will benefit from it.
Might sound fake to you,
But never mind,
Have it your way (:

Sick sick sick *cough, cough, cough*

*Cough*
I regret ;_;

I had Living skill *cough cough cough* .. classes for the whole day,
First time having a class with 3 Kappa,
One of the last classes.
They really held the name of being a last class up high.

*cough cough cough*

Whole day in the air-conditioned room made me sick.
I think.
I was already on fever and I went for marching.

Under the scorching flare of the sun.

I went back home,
Partially dead,
Bathed,
Rest,
Slept till 12am.
Amazing right?

So sad ._.
Of all the times to fall sick,
It must be today.
Why...

I have the mentor work tomorrow. (or today, since it's 12 already)
I have to prepare for my TRIALS.
I have to join marching competition. (not quite sure about it now)

I haven't even get to finish my homework ._.
And nuffnang isn't working for me again ..

I wanna sleep and forget about all this.
...
But I already slept the whole day...

August 3, 2008

It's been awhile ...

Long time no see.

Lacking of updates these days,
A summary of important events :

Today,
Went back from church after morning service,
Wanted to sleep but ended up going to IOI Mall with my mother.
Thanks mom for the facial cleansing stuff,
And the subway treat,
And the books =)
Basically the stuff that both my parents buy are different,
And now I know who to go to for expensive facial stuff now =P

Yesterday,
Went to some seminar,
For PMR.
Freaky thing was,
That the math teacher was the same math teacher at my father's office!!
The same dude who taught me math there.
Yuck.
The seminar was average ...
English and Science section was good,
And others were ... mediocre.
Now I know what an actual seminar is like,
Which means I won't be going for one any time soon.

Last week,
Had pre-trials,
Got the shocking news that I'm going to be a mentor for a bunch of students who scored below 25% for their maths and science.
OMGOSH. SHOUT WITH ME.
Let me boast a little.

Because I got the top in maths and science for the mid-year exams,
My group name is called A1,

Top in my form muahhaahahahahahahahahaahahahhahahahahahahahaa

Other stuff,
I can't access nuffnang these days,
I think they block me or something T_T

I'll elaborate on anything if I feel like it,
This is the end of my post.
